James Anthony Jarrett, age 49 of Everton, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his home.
The son of Jack Weaver and Scilla Lunell (Robertson) Jarrett was born July 30, 1962 in Harrison, Arkansas.
James was a member of Everton Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He enjoyed horses, cattle and working.
He worked at Anchor Die Cast.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Roy; grandparents, Shelby and Retta (Swafford) Jarrett and Melvin and Ada (O'Daniel) Robertson; and many other family members.
Survivors are his wife, Diana (Jones) Jarrett of the home; his mother, Lunell Jarrett of Everton; daughter, Sabrina Bass of Kokomo, Indiana; brothers, Troy Jarrett of Upland, Indiana, and Clifford Jarrett, Robert Jarrett, and Eden Jarrett all of Everton; sisters, Sharon Jarrett of Everton, Linda Gill of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Bonnie Miller of Hammond, Louisiana, Rosa Jarrett of Everton, and Jackie Woodman of Western Grove; and one grandson, Landon Bass. He is also survived by many other family and friends who will all mourn his passing.
Visitation was open Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Service was Friday, July 27, 2012 at Everton Baptist Church with Pastor Dwight Crowley officiating.
Burial followed in Anderson Flat Cemetery. Pallbearers were family and friends. Honorary pallbearers were Eden Jarrett, Pastor Dwight Crowley, Jason Baker, Pastor Paul Holder, Shane Jones, and the staff of Legacy Hospice.
