Zona Marie (Burns) Rosebrock, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 in Berryville.
She was born September 30, 1914 in Brownsburg, IN, the daughter of James Elliott and Reona Pearl (Hornaday) Burns.
Marie, as she was called by her friends, was united in marriage to Herman Henry Rosebrock, on December 31, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN, a marriage that lasted 65 years, until his passing in 2000.
She was preceded in death in by her husband, two daughters, Judith Ann Stephens of Midland, TX and Betty Lucille Mark of Dallas, TX.
Survivors are two daughters, Virginia Lee Hale of Berryville and Marcella Victoria Pickard of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Berryville, and the Daughters of the American Revolution - Bois d'Arc Chapter in Berryville.
It was Marie's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Methodist Church in Berryville.
She was interred in Berryville Memorial Cemetery, next to her husband. Visitation was Friday, June 15 at First United Methodist Church in Berryville. Graveside and committal service was 10 A.M. Saturday, June 16 at Berryville Memorial Cemetery.
