Zelma E. Wells, age 83 of Harrison, AR passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Harrison Nursing Home.

The daughter of Will M. and Clatie F. (Hensley) Hunter, she was born September 9, 1924 in St. Joe, AR.

Zelma had lived in Boone County since 1955, moving from Searcy County. She was a homemaker.

Her parents preceded her in death, along with her husband, Otis Wells; a son-in-law, Elmo Trublood; a granddaughter, Kim Price; four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors are her children, Terry Wells and Deanna Trublood, both of Harrison, Rita Loggins and husband, Mackie Loggins of Yellville, and Teresa Peavler and husband, Bobby of Morris, OK; sisters, Beulah Severn of Carl Junction, MO and Ethel Delk of Washington; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation was Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Services were Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the funeral home chapel with Darvin Rainbolt officiating. Burial followed in Bellefonte Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roy Brasel, Garland Brasel, Mackie Loggins, Bobby Peavler, David West, Buddy West, Burl "Bunny" Mathis, James Presley, and Eddie Price. Honorary pallbearers were Tim Duff, Dylan Black, Marcus Duvall, Benoya Fisk, Conward Allen, Gary Hunter, and Kenny Joe Hickenbottom.
