Zella Jean Sharp (née Butler), aged 96, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on August 2, 2024 at Hillcrest Home in Harrison. Born on July 31, 1928, at home in Bergman, AR, she was the beloved daughter of Floyd and Blanche Butler. Zella married Maurce Sharp on May 22, 1949 and were married until Maurce's death in 2015.  Maurce and Zella enjoyed many years on their farm in Bergman, where they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren.  After raising her children, Zella worked at Harness Boots and Shoes and Cooper's Shoe Store for many years.

A lifelong member of the Bergman United Methodist Church, Zella was deeply rooted in her community and faith. Her hobbies included baking, fishing, and cherishing moments with her family.  Zella's humor, quick wit, and love for Razorback men's basketball were sources of joy for all who knew her.

Zella was preceded in death by her husband, Maurce Sharp; her parents, Floyd and Blanche Butler; siblings Zelphia, Ruth, Lorene, and Kent; and son, Greg Sharp.

She leaves behind a loving family; sister, Pauline Maples of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Marsha Crabtree (Bill) of Fayetteville, AR; son, Chris Sharp (Cheryl) of Harrison, AR; grandchildren Heather Richardson (Todd) of Morgan, UT, Todd Moss (Leslie) of Springboro, OH, Katie Roehrenbeck (Scott) of Little Rock, AR, Joe Crabtree (Sara) of Edmond, OK, and Brianne Sharp of Lexington, KY; ten great grandchildren; and many other friends and family members.

Visitation will be at 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM both on Monday, August 5, 2024 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.

The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hillcrest Home in Harrison or York Cemetery in Bergman, honoring Zella's memory.
