Obituary
W.S. Dixon age 78 of Harrison, AR passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at his home.
The son of Luther E. and Ethel (Blevins) Dixon was born April 11, 1937 in Mt. View, AR.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty Dixon; his son, Keith Dixon, and his brother Coney Dixon.
W.S. was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and gardening.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald Murray and wife Lori of Valley Springs, AR, and Jeremy Vance of Tulsa, OK; his daughters, Sinda Dubois and husband Steve of Branson, MO; Jana Fornes of Harrison, Debra Young of Seligman, MO, and Tammy Dixon of Harrison, AR.; his sisters, Barbara Reynolds of Marshall, AR; Juanita Trail and husband William of Artemas, PA, and Neoma Stevens of Nevada, MO; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison, AR.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 14, 2015 at Wayton United Baptist Church in Wayton, AR., with Pastor Royce Sweatman officiating. Burial will follow in Wayton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Murray, Steve Dubois, Ron Murray, Tony Young, Michael Young, and Jeremy Vance.
Honorary pallbearers are Joey Henry and Roy Shockley.
