Obituary
Woodrow "Woody" Nichols, age 85, passed away July 16, 2010 at his home in Lafayette, LA.
The son of Jim and Vesta (Freeman) Nichols was born May 22, 1925 in Mt. Judea, AR.
Woodroe was a 41 year resident of Reno, Nevada. He enjoyed fishing with his family. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the Babtist Church and the Masonic Lodge.
He is preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
At his side his loving wife of 61 years Ruby (O'Neal) Nichols and his three children, Eric Nichols, Rodger Nichols and wife Heidi, and Myra Walker and husband Brian.
Woodroe is also survived by three sisters, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Graveside service was Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Mt. Judea Cemetery.
