Obituary
Willie Ray Murphy, age 90 of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Harrison.
The son of Lonnie Newt Murphy and Ida Mae (Taylor) Murphy, was born September 7, 1918 at Self, Arkansas. Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Charlene Murphy; three brothers; and one sister.
Willie Ray Murphy is survived by his son Kenneth Murphy of Harrison and his sister Wanda Buck of Harrison.
Graveside service was Friday, June 19, 2009 at Ben's Branch Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ricky McCutcheon, Mitchel McCutcheon, Desmel McCutcheon, Alan Evans, Greg Turner, and Carl Wayne Edwards. Honorary pallbearers were Norman and Betty Martin, Daniel and Pam Turner, Ed and Darlene Strong and Doug and Sabrina Massey.
