William Bertrand Macomber "Duke" passed away Friday, February 3, 2012, in Harrison Ark.
The son of William L Macomber and Jessie (Seffens) Macomber was born December 6, 1937 in Montrose, Colorado.
William moved to the area from Walnut Creek, California where he worked for Southern Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed camping, reading, watching movies, and boat riding.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Busbee) Macomber of the home, sons, Monte Harold Garrison of Haskell, Arkansas; William Oliver Garrison, of Alpena, Arkansas; daughter, Shryl Renae Reed, of Bigelow, Arkansas; brother, Norman Ray Macomber, of Alpena, Arkansas; sister, Betty Jean Rockwell, of Anacortes, Washington; grandchildren, Dustin Wayne Reed, of Diamond City, Arkansas; Taylor Renae Reed of Bigelow, Arkansas; one great grandchild, Kenzee Renee Reed, of Diamond City, Arkansas; three newphews; Larry, Tom, and Ken Rockwell, and one niece, Morgan Rockwell.
Memorial service was Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
