William "Bill" Hill, of Western Grove, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his home. He was 79 years old.

The son of Adren and Vada (Henson) Hill was born on July 7, 1941 in Cave Creek, Arkansas.

Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Viet Nam War. He enjoyed going to church and playing his guitar. Bill enjoyed his career as a truck driver. He married Julia Rainey on July 30, 1982. They enjoyed 31 years of marriage until her death in January 2014.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Hill; one daughter, Ina Gail Hill; his mother, Vada Hill; and stepson, Ralph Heavner.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Hill and James Heavner; one daughter, Norma Jean Gmachowski; one sister and her husband, Peggy and Kenneth Coonts; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; two nieces; and many friends.

Funeral service is Monday, May 3, 2021 at the Mt. Judea Church at 10:00 a.m. with Johnny McKinley officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael McKinley, Tony McKinley, Trenton Bolin, Vince Watters, Andy Zinkula, and Kenneth Coonts.

There is no visitation.
