William Glen Dotson, age 72 of Pelsor, AR passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR.

The son of William Sam and Alma (Bolin) Dotson was born September 21, 1945 in Dry Creek, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Jimmy Doyle Dotson.

He enjoyed woodwork, gardening, fruit trees, and fishing.  He had a special talent for welding.

William is survived by his mother, Alma Dotson of Harrison; his son William Randy Dotson and wife Linda of Cowell, AR; his daughter, Pam Young and husband Lee of Cowell, AR; his first wife and mother of his 2 children, Mildred Dotson of Pelsor, AR; his sisters, Linda Smith of Pelsor, Donna Grovero of Missouri, Jackie Rylee of Omaha, AR, and Debbie Middleton of Missouri.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley Kienlen, Jared Young, James Dotson, Charles Dotson and Hannah Dotson; his step grandchild Kurt Young; his great grandchildren, Joslun Jones, Wesley Kienlen, and Urijah Young; his step great grandchildren, Riley Jones, Kinsey Jones and Olivia and Haley Young,  special nieces Christall and Amanda Rylee, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper, AR with Pastor James Compton officiating.  Burial will follow in Cowell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jared Young, James Dotson, Charles Dotson, Jamie Rylee, Dale Dotson, and Michael Dotson.

Honorary pallbearers are Clifford Rylee, Newton County Nursing Home, the ER staff of NARMC and Dr. Sorg.
