William A. Bollinger, age 90 of Alpena, Arkansas and Kimberling City, Missouri passed away Monday, September 16, 2013 in Dover, Ohio.
The son of Robert and Rhoda (Tiewater) Bollinger was born July 13, 1923 at Hickory Ridge, Arkansas.
William served in the U.S. Navy and worked at Tyson's for 17 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to bluegrass music, and fishing. He especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Coy Noxie Bollinger; a daughter, Brenda Henderson, two sons-in-law, Elmer Henderson and Leroy Craig, and two sisters, Elizabeth Bollinger and Alice Richardson.
Survivors are his daughters, Bonnie Craig of Belle Vista, Arkansas and Sheila Kueffler and husband, Marv of Kimberling City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Friday, September 20, 2013 with the service 2 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2013, both at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison, Arkansas. Eugene Coffman will officiate the service.
Burial will follow in Alpena Cemetery at Alpena, Arkansas with pallbearers being Brent Savage, Rick Craig, Lee Craig, Michael Craig, Shane Henson, and Douglas Pederson.
Honorary pallbearers are Casey Savage, Duston Savage and Casey Hittson.
