Obituary
William H. Ahart, age 57 of Yellville, AR passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of Charles and Helen (Pelton) Ahart, was born May 24, 1949 in Oswego, N.Y. His parents preceded him in death.
William had lived in the area since 1989, moving from Louisiana, and was employed with Tyson's.
Survivors are his wife, Velma (McEntire)Henson-Ahart of the home; sons, Keith Ahart and Ken Ahart, both of New York; daughters, Christine McGee of Huntsville, AR and Billie Smith of Harrison; step-sons, Timmy Henson and Tommy Henson, both of Pindall, AR, and Jimmy "Jody" Henson of Everton, AR; and step-daughters, Geannie Cowan of Pindall and Ginger Curtis of Ozark, MO; brother, Jim Ahart of Oswego, N.Y.; sister, Cheryl Trainor of Scotia, N.Y.; six grandchildren; twenty-two step grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be open at Coffman Funeral Home until 7:00 PM Thursday; Service is Friday, 2:00 PM at Pindall Pentecostal Church with burial in
Kilbourn Cemetery at Pindall.
Donnie Cowan will officiate.
Pallbearers are Melvin Sims, Charles Taylor, Joshua McCutcheon, Eldon McAfee, Joey McGhee, and Matt Leffert. Honorary Pallbearers are Gene Lane and Julie Sims.
