Obituary
Wendell Alfred Smith III, age 72 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri.
The son of Wendell Alfred Smith II and Dorothea (Whaley) Smith was born on July 22, 1943.
Wendell was an excellent surgical nurse and he loved to go diving.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ellen S. Linder and a nephew, Charlie McMurtry.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Smith of the home; 4 children, Melinira Fletcher of Las Vegas, Nevada, Wendell Alfred Smith IV of Las Vegas, Nevada, Lana Riddle of Denton, Texas and Amanda Jo Kolb of Harrison, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Rylee Fletcher, Kane Kolb, Kate Kolb, Charlotte Kolb, Boone Riddle and Bryan Fletcher; one great-granddaughter and many other friends and family who will mourn his passing.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the home of Wendell and Terri Smith.
Arrangements are by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. Online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com.
