Wanda Lee Reece, of Hasty, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Harrison at the age of 88.
The daughter of the late Homer and Margaret (Farmer) Bolin was born in Harrison on May 30, 1934. Wanda was a lifelong resident of Newton County. She retired from Newton County Nursing Home after working over 20 years. She loved working at the nursing home and visiting with the residents.
Wanda loved flower gardening, reading and sewing. Her home was always open to family, friends, and strangers. She was an excellent cook, no one could ever top her mashed potatoes and chocolate cake. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she also helped raise many of her nieces and nephews. Wanda was a born-again Christian of Pentecostal Faith. She loved to talk about the Bible and had a heart of gold.

She was preceded in death by a son, Buddy Reece, daughter, Kathy Reece; two brothers, Carl Bolin and Ben Bolin; and three sisters, Ima Jane "Sis" Bell, Doylene "Red" Garner, and Emma Lou "Winkie" Workman.
Wanda is survived by her son, James Reece of Hasty; daughter, Vicki Robertson of St. Joe; granddaughter, Erica Robertson of St. Joe; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Funeral will be at 10 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Bro. Derwin Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Jasper Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM – 7 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are her nephews and great nephews, Robby Flud, Randy Garner, Paul Bell, Hubert Bolin, Jim Bell, and Robert Bolin.
Honorary pallbearers are Ken Bell, Chris Mann, Jeremy Sims, and Ross Jasper.
The family would like to say Thank you to the Nurses and Staff of Newton County Nursing Home for the loving care provided to Wanda during her stay there.
