Wanda "Sue" (Horton) Nixon, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home at the age of 84 on March 2, 2026, with her children and her husband by her side.

She was born in Plumerville, Arkansas on September 26th, 1941.

Sue enjoyed life, spending time with her husband of 68 years and making special memories with her family, planting flowers, fishing, thrifting, sewing and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her mother Erma Lee Horton; sister, Virginia Harrison; and daughters, Cynthia Dawn Nixon and June Lee Daniels.

Survivors include her loving husband, Roy Nixon, Sr. of the home; her children, Susan Rabone of Harrison, AR, Joy Randall (Charles), of Springfield, MO, and Roy Nixon Jr. (Annie), of Petit Jean, AR; a host of 26 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

Sue will be greatly missed by many as she touched so many hearts throughout her lifetime.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with close family.
