Obituary
Wanda Lee Doss, 87 of Compton, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of Robert and Olive (Ketner) Sharp was born December 17, 1930 at Sacramento, California.
She was a homemaker and a resident of Newton County for over 60 years moving from California. She was a faithful member of Mountain Springs Full Gospel Church until her health no longer permitted her to attend.
Wanda enjoyed sewing, reading, playing with her grandkids and she loved going to church and singing. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alvin Doss, an infant son, Leon Doss, three grandsons, Jacob Martin, Caleb Wayne McCoy and Christopher Lane McCoy; two brothers, Paul and Newell Sharp and two sisters, Delores and Barbara Sharp and a son-in-law, Rodney Ford.
Wanda is survived by her sons, Glen Doss and wife Karen of California and David Doss of Bentonville; her daughters, Ester Stephens and husband Ron of Bentonville and Linda Ford of Compton; a sister, Darlene Sharp of Washington; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Mountain Springs Cemetery near Compton with Pastor Justin Villines officiating. There will be no visitation.
