Obituary
Walter Lee Davis, age 80, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at North
Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
He was born October 15, 1928 in Nail, Arkansas, the son of Wesley Lee Davis and Mary Coon Davis.
He was saved and baptized in 1980 and was a member of the Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Harrison.
His parents preceded him in death, also, his sister, Josie Glover; one great grand-daughter, Casey Renee Davis.
Walter was a loving husband, father and grandfather and his grandchildren were the joy of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Amanda "Frances" (Retz) Davis of the home; his son, Jim Lee Davis of Nevada; his daughter and son-in-law, Donna Faye (Davis) and Pat Casey of Benton, AR; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; his special friends, Bruce and Darlene Trammell; and a host of other family and friends.
There was a memorial service Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Red Oak Missionary Baptist Church. Brother Gary Crawford officiated.
Private burial will be at Crawford Cemetery.
Arrangements and cremation by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
