Wade Mathew Bailey, of Forsyth, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  He was 50 years old.

The son of Henry and Anna (Hampton) Bailey was born on October 13, 1972 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Wade was of the Christian faith and was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Poppie to his grandchildren.  He was a huge Arkansas Razorbacks fan and an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed fishing.   Wade was also a strong advocate for non-profit organizations for the blind and visually impaired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas Bailey; an infant brother and sister; and his guide dog, Harry.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Stephanie Bailey; two sons, Justin Bailey and his wife, Alexandrea and Noah Bailey and his girlfriend, Tressa Pytel; daughter-in-law, Leslie Bailey; four siblings, Henry Bailey, Jr., Joseph Bailey and wife, Angela, April Bailey and husband, Edmund, and Larry Bailey, Sr. and wife, Mary Jane; eight grandchildren; his guide dog, Colby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Visitation is Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Funeral service will be Friday, August 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.  Pastor Wyman Richardson will officiate.

Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery in Carlisle, Arkansas at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 25, 2023. Pallbearers are April Bailey, Larry Bailey, Shane Hill, Josh Morrell, Matthew Woodruff, and Justin Shephard.  Honorary pallbearers include Edmund Bailey and Bill Freeman.
