Obituary
Virginia M. Wiggs, age 81 of Harrison, AR passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
She was born June 20, 1924 in Rosston, AR a daughter of Joseph T. and Ester (McDaniel) Atkins.
She was a member of Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed working in the flower gardens.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Amelia Whitehead, Mildred Crain, and Melva Stusse; and a brother, Herman Atkins.
Survivors are her husband of 59 years, James E. "Jim" Wiggs of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Wiggs of Canyonville, OR; sister, Verna Martin of Prescott, AR; and grandchildren, Zac Wiggs of San Diego, CA, and Katelyn Wiggs and Robby Wiggs both of Canyonville, OR.
Services for Virginia were April 1st, 2006 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Bro. Mark Enloe officiating. Burial followed in Brittian Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Willis, Bob Seesengood, Mark Mistler, Dennis Lott, Mike Cooper, and J.C. Methvin. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Kevin Jackson, members of Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church, and Bellefonte Board of Aldermen.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Bear Creek Springs Baptist Church for the Family Life Center, 179 Devito's Loop, Harrison, AR 72601.
