Virginia Ruth Flippo, lifelong resident of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away June 18, 2021 at the age of 88.

The daughter of James and Clarisa (Richardson) Flippo was born in Harrison, Arkansas on April 16, 1933.

Virginia loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest passions in life. Her home was always open to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Teddy Flippo and her siblings.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Timothy Flippo, Steven Flippo, Christopher Flippo (Missy) and Kevin House (Cindy); her daughters, Karen Milam (Deryl), Nancy Thornton (Richard), Leta Flippo and Misty Armitage (Jerry); 16 grandchildren, Stephanie, Karla, Dara, Melissa, Scott, Clarisa, Kammie, Nichol, Mandi, Carson, Cameron, Brooklynn, Madelynn, Joe, Abby and Aydin; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her and will miss her.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Holmes Cemetery in Bellefonte on July 3, 2021 at 11 AM with Evangelist Scott Bailey officiating.
