Obituary
Virgil Eugene Burns, 58 of Western Grove, Arkansas passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at home.
He was born November 6, 1959 at Stuttgart, Arkansas. He has been a resident of this area since 1995. He attended Church by the River in St. Joe.
Virgil was a member of the Alpha 1 association and treasurer of Lighthouse Ministries. He was a loyal donor to Feed the Children. He was a hard worker until his health no longer permitted. He enjoyed collecting guns and coins.
He was determined, independent and stubborn. He loved his son and was a good brother who never asked anyone for anything.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vern McKinley and brother, Burt McKinley.
Virgil is survived by his mother, Carole May (Burns) Brewer; his son, Seth Burns; his brother, Dexter Burns; four sisters, Barbara Burns Ballenger, Darlene Brandon, Colleen Agee and Thresa Nelms; his aunt, Mary McKinley and a host of nieces, nephews and other dear relatives and friends.
Burial was in Maple Leaf Cemetery on September 24, 2018 in Harrison, Arkansas under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison. On-line condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com .
