Violet Laverne Lawson, age 76 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in Jasper.

The daughter of Floyd and Eileen Ramsey was born on November 23, 1943 in Murray, Arkansas.

Violet enjoyed listening to music, singing and liked to attend church.  She especially loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Roland Sr.; a son, Tony Roland; a brother, Bill and 4 sisters, Louise, Karen, Alice and Betty.

Violet is survived by 3 sons, Thomas Roland of Parthenon, Arkansas, Tim Roland and wife Robin of Harrison and Toby Roland of Searcy, Arkansas; 4 brothers, James Compton, Bob Ramsey, Jiggs Compton and Arnold Ramsey; 3 sisters, Judy Willey, Janice Turley, and Carol Brazil; 10 grandchildren, Trinity Roland, Travis Roland, Trevor Roland, Bryan Roland, Dallas Roland, Shelby Roland, Dokken Roland, Celeste Kyger, Evan Roland and Caitlin Collette; numerous great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will mourn her passing.

Services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Dennis Selvidge officiating.  Burial will follow in Buffalo Cemetery at Murray.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Roland, Tim Roland, Trint Roland, Travis Roland, and Dallas Roland.
