Obituary
Violet M. Hall of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 28, 2012 at Bristol Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in Harrison.
The daughter of Claude and Nellie (Jones) Mathis was born on February 20, 1924 in Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Junior and Earl Mathis; and her only son and pride and joy, Austin Hall.
Violet is survived by a daughter-in-law, Becky Hall of Harrison, Arkansas; a brother, Floyd Mathis of California; and four sisters, Sue Owens, Gen Fields, Lee Warfield, and Claudette Hall all of California; a granddaughter, Heather Hall Guynn and husband Zach of Rogers, Arkansas; a grandson, Jeremy Hall of Pineville, Missouri; and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Ella Grace Guynn of Rogers, Arkansas; and also a man who became like a son to her, Bob Parkhill of Harrison, Arkansas.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 5:00 pm at the Southern Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Harrison.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
Arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison and online condolences may be left at www.coffmanfh.com.
