Viola Baker, age 69 of St. Joe, AR passed away Wednesday, March 16 at her home in St. Joe.
She was born March 30, 1936 at Lead Hill, AR a daughter of Grover C. and Cordia (Hampton) Hall.
Viola was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, LaRue Klutts and Louise Shore; and brothers, Ford Hall and Ray Hall.
Survivors are her husband, Bob Baker of the home; daughter, Brenda Baker and son, Robert Baker both of St. Joe; brother, Jack Hall and wife, Judy of Harrison; brother-in-law, Kirby Klutts of Springdale; and a host of nieces and nephews. Also surviving her are two very special friends, Anna Cunningham and Sophie Pace who never forgot her during her five year battle with cancer.
Viola retired from Flintrock Shirt Company after 35 years. She was a wonderful person never asking for anything in return, even during the last few days of her life. She was more concerned for her family than herself and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She's in a better place now and even though she's gone, it isn't "Goodbye", it's "See you later".

Memorial service was held Saturday, March 18th, 2006 at St. Joe Church of Christ in St. Joe, AR. Burial was in Osborne Cemetery at St. Joe.
