Vincent "Vinney" Merrill, age 49 of Pindall, passed away Monday, October 19, 2009 near Pindall.
He was born March 14, 1960 in Grayling, Michigan.
He grew up in Florida and moved to this area in 1982. Vincent was a member of Western Grove Bible Church.
Spending time with his son was the joy of his life. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing music and his family.
His father and a brother, Curtis Merrill both preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Louetta Merrill of Pindall; his son, Frank Vincent Merrill of Pindall; a daughter, Linda June Sappenfield of Western Grove; his mother, Elizabeth Merrill of Fayetteville; one brother, Thomas E. Trailer and wife, Dena of Fayetteville; sisters, Martha Merrill Reed and Theresa Eagles and husband, Steve all of Huntsville, Jo Ann Grutze and Judy Trailer both of Traverse City, Michigan, Jackie D'Amour and Lynn Isenhauer both of Grayling, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, October 21, 2009 with service on Thursday, October 22, 2009, both held at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial followed at Western Grove Cemetery with Bro. Dennis Sisco officiating.
Pallbearers were Tom Trailer, Steve Eagles, Erik Lewis, Steven Lewis, Ricky Joe Morrison, Jesse Jerkins, and Jared Jerkins. Honorary pallbearers are Chester Lewis, Steven Eagles, Frank Roper, J.T. Willis, Steven Baker, Wendell Jerkins, Chris Brasel, Steve Horn, Steven Riley, and Justin Sappenfield.
A fund has been established at Bank of the Ozarks for the benefit of Vinney'son, Frankie Merrill.
