Obituary
Vesta B. Potts, age 106 of Harrison, AR passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at her home in Harrison.
She was born January 7, 1900 at Western Grove, AR daughter of Lee and Lula (Morrison) Barger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewey M. Potts; a son, Carl Potts; brothers, Clay, Clyde and Claude Barger; sisters, Gail Mallard, Esther Wells, Minnie Simmons, and Alice Wallis; a grandson, Joe David Brown; and a son-in-law, Derald Van Dyke.
She was a member of Valley Springs Methodist Church and was a school teacher.
Vesta is survived by her son, Doyne Potts and wife, Rita of Batesville; daughters, Wanda Brown and husband, A.L. of Harrison and Mary Van Dyke of Ozark, MO; brother, Ray Barger of Texas; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
Service were March 24th, 2006 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison with Rev. Edward Powers officiating. Burial was in Western Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ross Potter, Kenneth Wells, Hugh Wells, Tommy Potts, Howard Young, and Jim Joe Mallard.
