Obituary
Veronica Jo Sams, age 50 of Shiloh, Arkansas passed away at her home Tuesday, June 14, 2011.
The daughter of John J. and Irma (Garner) White was born August 29, 1960 in Dallas, Texas.
She was a homemaker, a first responder (which she dearly loved) and had moved to Newton County with her family 47 years ago at the age of three. She was of the Assembly of God faith.
She was preceded in death by her father and a nephew, Raymond Martin White.
Survivors are her husband, Chester Sams of Shiloh, Arkansas; her mother and step-father, Irma and Sig Klein of Shiloh, Arkansas; three brothers, Johnnie White of Louisville, Kentucky, Raymond White of Shiloh, Arkansas and Forrest White of Jasper; one sister, Connie Atkinson of Baird, Texas and many nephews, nieces and other family and friends.
Funeral Services were Friday, June 17, 2011 at Mt. Sherman Assembly of God Church with Rev. Raymond White and Rev. Jon White officiating. Burial followed in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
Visitation was Thursday at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers were David Atkinson, Calvin White, Anthony Atkinson, Alan Floyd, Dwayne Barnard and Kyle Barnard.
