Obituary
Vernell Sullivan, age 88 of Harrison, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
She was born October 11, 1923 at Cave Creek, Arkansas the daughter of Richard and Nancy (McCutcheon) Henson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Sullivan; a daughter, Nancy Jane Willett; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Treva Rushing, Anna Hunt and husband Dennis and Kay Potter and husband George; her son, Donald Joe Sullivan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, J.W. and Wanda Henson and Albert and Ann Henson; and a sister-in-law, Gladine Eddings; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Open visitation was at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was Monday, December 26, 2011 at Ben's Branch Church of Christ at Cave Creek with Junior Dodson officiating.
Burial followed in Ben's Branch Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were the staff of the Hillcrest Nursing Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Ben's Branch Cemetery Fund, HC 32 Box 216, Mt. Judea, Arkansas 72655.
