Obituary
Verl D. McCutcheon, age 80 of Harrison, AR passed away Monday, March 27, 2006 at Hilltop Nursing Center.
He was born October 19, 1925 at Snowball, AR a son of Joseph Zephna and Inez Mae (Wells) McCutcheon. He had lived in Searcy and Boone Counties all of his life and was a farmer.
Verl was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean (Reed) McCutcheon; and a brother, Jim McCutcheon.
Survivors are his daughters, Verlie Henderson and husband, Ruddie and Margie Welch and husband, Acey all of Harrison; brother, Horace McCutcheon also of Harrison; grandchildren, Sara McCutcheon and Robert Shultz both of Harrison, Jessica Chapin and husband, Aaron of Green Forest, and Rolly Smith of Peel; step-grandsons, Ruddie Henderson, Jr. and Scott Henderson both of Sikeston, MO, Bobby Henderson of Harrison, and Jeremy Henderson of Center City, IL; one great grandson, Nathaniel Eddings; and four step-great granddaughters, Hannah Henderson, Laura Henderson, Lillian Henderson, and Isabella Henderson.
Graveside services for Verl McCutcheon were held March 28th, 2006 at Maplewood Cemetery with his daughter, Verlie Henderson officiating. Pallbearers are family members. There was open visitation at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
