Velma Casey, age 85 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at her home.
The daughter of Doy and Ader (Watson) Reynolds was born on January 13, 1930 at Shiloh, Arkansas.
She was a member of the Lone Beech United Baptist Church; a homemaker and had lived most of her life in Newton County.
Velma enjoyed cooking; going to church and helping the less fortunate. She was a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ertle Glen Casey; two brothers, Kennith Reynolds and Delmer Reynolds; one sister, Vestal Carlton and a great-grandbaby, Summer Henderson.
Survivors are one son, Ronny Casey of Harrison; four daughters, Brenda Harrison of Lowell; Glenda Bowman of Jasper; Joyce Breedlove of Deer and Pam Emerson of Jasper; two brothers, John Arvil Reynolds of Springdale and Dewayne Reynolds of Hulbert, Oklahoma; two sisters, Vera Pearly Bell of Bend, Oregon and Ruby Ramsey Harris of Rogers; ten grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Jasper with Bro. Bobby Young and Bro. Billy Paul Matlock officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Cemetery at Wayton.
Visitation from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Dale Daniels, Frankie Breedlove, Nathan Bowman, Brock Henderson, Tyler Casey and Nick Bowen.
