Vela Laverne Bolin Campbell age 74 of Jasper, Arkansas passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at her home.
The daughter of Lenro and Walcie (Flud) Bolin was born on June 6, 1940 at Vendor, Arkansas. She was a housewife and a lifetime resident of Newton County.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Ray Campbell; parents Lenro and Walcie Bolin; a daughter Roberta Ricketts; a son-in-law Jerry Kenneth Ricketts; a grandson Brandon Campbell; a great-grandson Dalton Kendall Ricketts; two brothers Leroy Bolin and Troy Bolin and a sister Vecil Middleton.
Survivors are three sons Eric and wife Amanda Campbell of Vendor, Preston Campbell of Jasper and Kent and wife Sharon Campbell of Jasper; two daughters Glenda and husband Buddy Campbell of Mt. Judea and Janet and husband Dennis Harrison of Rogers; three sisters Annie Campbell of Mt. Judea, Edith Campbell of Jasper and Diana Jones of Batavia; 27 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Coffman Funeral Home in Jasper with Bro. Leo Dye officiating. Burial followed in Smith Cemetery at Vendor. Visitation was 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
Pallbearers were Shane Campbell, BJ Campbell, Rusty Campbell, Emmanuelle Campbell, Nathan Ricketts and Keith Ricketts. Honorary pallbearers will be grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
