Obituary
Vaughn Craig Jones, age 70 of Harrison, AR passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Hospice House in Harrison.
The son of Vaughn and Opal Juanita (Bates) Jones was born October 14, 1947 in Hopewell, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Vaughn lived in Harrison his entire life. He was a member of the Cottonwood Fire Department and the Cottonwood Water Board. He was in the Air Force and served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Gwen (Griffiths) Jones of the home; his son, David Conner and wife Debbie of Harrison; his daughters, Sarah Bray and husband Patrick of Harrison and Julie Newman and husband David of Ozark, MO; his sister Annette Jones of Harrison; 7 grandchildren, Crystal Valentine, Tracy Curtis, Patrick Conner, Mary Bray, Lily Bray, Johnny Bray, and Victoria Newman; and 5 great grandchildren, Conner Valentine, Colbi Valentine, Tucker Valentine, Braylen Curtis, and Evelyn Curtis.
Memorial visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 9,2018 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Claude Parrish Radiation Therapy Institution, 620 N. Main, Harrison, AR 72601 or Harrison Hospice House, 501 E. Sherman Ave, Harrison, AR. 72601.
