Obituary
Vada Jane Payne, age 80 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison.
The daughter of Loyd Green and Violet Josephine (Campbell) Edmondson was born October 7, 1932 in LaRue, Arkansas.
Vada was a resident of the Harrison area for over 60 years and was a member of the Bellefonte Apostolic Church. Vada loved her family dearly and the Lord Jesus Christ, with whom now has her safely in His arms.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Walter Payne (V.W.); one son, Carl Nugget Payne; two sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by four daughters, Loretta Eddings of Marble Falls, Arkansas, Ellen Wynn of Harrison, Arkansas, Kathy Allen of Harrison, Arkansas, and Vickie Britt of Harrison, Arkansas; one brother, Loyd Edmondson Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister, Etta Lou Craine of Bentonville, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Bellefonte Apostolic Church in Bellefonte, Arkansas with Rev. Nathan Hardgrave officiating.
Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Monday, December 17, 2012 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be David Wise, Brian Johnson, Delbert Jones, Vernon Fowler, Greg Cox, and Ronnie Andrews.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Blake Chitsey, the entire staff of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, Hospice of the Hills Hospice House, the Bellefonte Apostolic Church, and Herbert Blair.
