Ulys "Cotton" Davidson, age 62 of Compton passed away at his home Friday, March 5, 2010.
The son of Johnie and Erbie (Beaver) Davidson, was born May 7, 1947 at Compton, AR.
He worked in the timber industry as a logger and enjoyed hunting and farming.
His parents preceded him in death along with brothers, Berlin, Glen, Herbert, Brad, Devoe, and Perry Davidson; and one sister, Tootie Kilgore.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Davidson; a son, Johnny Davidson and step-son, Will Schuster both of Huntsville; a daughter, Tina Davidson of Huntsville and a step-daughter, Karen Schuster of Mtn. Home; a brother, Joe Davidson of Green Forest and a sister, Dot House of Low Gap; and two grandchildren, Devon and Alaia Schuster.
Visitation was Monday, March 8, 2010 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Service was Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Crossroads Church in Compton with burial to follow in Crossroads Cemetery. Robert Huber, Donnie Villines and Craig Villines officiated.
Pallbearers were Chris, Verl, Sonny Boy, Frank and Eddie Davidson, Kelvin House and Eddie Villines. Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Davidson, Will Schuster, his remaining surviving nephews, and Sonny Villines, Connie Gibbons,Jerry Parker, Waylon Villines, and Caylon Villines.
