Troy Buster Rogers, age 78 of Lead Hill, Arkansas passed away Friday March 11, 2016 in Lead Hill.
The son of Lester and Bertie (Akins) Rogers was born on February 16, 1938 in Lead Hill.
Troy was a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather and brother to his family. He enjoyed hunting, especially coon hunting, farming and was a great gardener.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty June Rogers; one grandson, Brandon Mysinger and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by one son, Troy Lee Rogers and wife Lisa of Lead Hill; 3 daughters, Rita Dickey and husband Larry of Lead Hill, Glenda Gatlin and Jim Kimbrell of Lead Hill and Brenda Billings and husband David of Omaha, Arkansas; one sister, Marie Austin and husband Dean of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family who will mourn his passing.
Services will be held Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Monarch Tabernacle Church with Pastor Craig Rogers and Pastor Kevin Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Milum Cemetery in Lead Hill.
Pallbearers include Gary Bland, Ty Rogers, Alvie Lane, Mike Blankenship, Cody Hanna and Kelly Blankenship. Honorary pallbearers include his friends and family, the staff of Legacy Hospice, the Area Agency on Aging with special thanks going to Terrie Day and Carry Cain and all of his doctors and nurses.
