Obituary
Troy Morris, age 83 of Lead Hill, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison.
The son of Winfiel and Roma (Bell) Morris, he was born March 5, 1925 at Osage, Arkansas.
He lived his young life at Osage, then moved to Arizona and worked in construction until retiring about 11 years ago to Lead Hill.
He enjoyed fishing and gardening especially after retiring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Clifford, Glen, and Dean Morris; two sisters, Thelma Smith and Millie McNair along with 3 infant brothers and 1 infant sister.
His wife, Alene (Ohler) Morris of the home, survives him along with three children, Troy Allen Morris and wife Evguenia, Joyce Blanton, and Marsha Thissell and husband, Duane all of Arizona; one brother, Dunard Morris and his wife, Ellen of Arizona; one sister, Dorothy Mae Smith and her husband, Ray of Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren, Angela, Chad, Brent, Justin, Aleisha, Chance, and Anthony; 13 great grandchildren, with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was Friday, October 10, 2008. Services were Saturday, October 11, 2008, both at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial followed at Dogbranch Cemetery near Alpena. Jackie Ray Smith and Billy Joe Smith officiated.
Pallbearers are Todd McAlister, Bryn Raver, Brent Buelna, Chad Wilson, Perry Black, Ronnie McNair, and Sam Morris. Honorary pallbearers are Clyde Black, Ronnie Ohler, Stanley Ohler, Justin Buelna, and Chance McGaughey.
Memorials may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Hills, PO Box 1927, Harrison, AR 72602.
