Obituary

Tracy Lynne (Rands) Taylor, age 65, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home in Wayton, Arkansas on February 15, 2025.

She was born July 7, 1959, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Paul and Jean Rands.

As a military family, they moved around the country and to Germany before settling in Harrison, where she graduated in 1977. She married her husband, Clinton Taylor, on October 18, 1980, and they spent 44 years together in Wayton.

Tracy was a strong, hardworking woman with a big heart and would speak her mind. She worked as a CNA for 30 years at Newton County Nursing Home. She was a caring woman who cared for everyone from young to elderly including several family members. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mamaw, sister, aunt, and friend.

She enjoyed spending her time camping, cooking, baking, gardening, and being with her family, especially her grandsons.

Tracy was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Jean Rands, sisters Sheryl Roberts and Brenda Rands, and in-laws Grant and Lettie Taylor.

Her survivors include her husband, Clint Taylor of Wayton, son Jeremy and grandsons, Wyatt and Waylon Taylor, of Wayton, daughter, Cassandra and grandson Kenny, of Wayton, brothers, Darrell and wife, Janet Rands of Bedford Texas, and Mike and wife Fredrika Rands of Fort Worth, Texas, Sister, Gwen Rands of Queen City, Texas, mother-in-law, Kathy Taylor of Jasper, brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony and Rita Taylor of Wayton, Eddie and Meshelle Kilgore of Mt. Sherman and Claudina Taylor of Harrison.

Tracy is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many of her children's friends whom she treated as her own.
