Todd Swartz, age 33 of Harrison, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at St. John's Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. The son of Richard Dale Swartz and Debra (Eddings) Barron, was born in Harrison on September 19, 1973. He had lived here most of his life and was a member of the Batavia Assembly of God Church. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and a truck driver.
Todd was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family and children.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers, George Eddings and Darrell (Jiggs) Barron and his paternal grandparents.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Tibbie) Swartz of the home; his children, Shelby, Christopher, Ethan, and McKenzie all of the home; his father, Richard Dale Swartz; his mother and father, Debra and John Barron of Omaha; his brothers, Anthony and Aaron Swartz both of Harrison, Nathan Swartz of Yellville and Brad Barron of Bentonville; a sister, Sheri Roe of Harrison; grandmothers, Hazel Eddings of Harrison and Rosemary Barron of Yellville, several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was Sunday. Service was Monday at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Burial followed in Gass Cemetery with Bro. Tollie Sutterfield officiating.
Pallbearers were Anthony, Aaron, and Nathan Swartz, Brad Barron, Brian Roe, Danny Tibbie, Mark Hodge, and David Tanksley. Honorary pallbearers were the staff of St. John's 3E ICU, Springfield, Mo, Dr. Coller and Stacy Richardson.
