Timothy Mark Alvarez, Sr., of Bergman, passed away at his home on Monday, March 1, 2021.  He was 69 years old.

The son of Nash Alvarez and Frances Bowen was born on April 19, 1951 in Sonora, California.

Timothy was a retired millwright after working many years at a saw mill.  He loved driving his trike whenever and wherever he could.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and especially enjoyed fishing with his grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nash Alvarez;his grandmother, Ysidra Gamboa Alvarez; and one brother, Richard Douglas "Doug" Ortiz.

Survivors include three sons, Timothy Mark Alvarez, Jr., Eli Nash Alvarez, and Nash James Alvarez, Sr.; one daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kay Alvarez; six grandchildren, Kyra, Jessica, Tianna, Sierra, Nash Jr., and Alissa; two great grandchildren, Lucas and Paris; his mother, Frances Ortiz; one brother, Ron Ortiz; two sisters, Cathy Ortiz and Nashalee Mankin; and several other family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Graveside service is Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Maple Leaf Cemetery.  Pastor Bill Edgar will officiate.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
