Thurman L. Nichols' Obituary
Thurman L. Nichols, age 91 of Pindall, AR, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 at the Hospice House in Harrison.
The son of Oscar Jackson and Samantha Jane (Smith) Nichols, he was born January 16, 1917 in Searcy County, Arkansas.
He had lived most of his life in Searcy County, except for years that he worked on cross country pipelines. After retirement, he enjoyed visiting with his friends at the IGA Coffee shop in Western Grove. He attended the First Pentecostal Church in Pindall as long as he was able.
His wife, Willie (Gray) Nichols preceded him in death, as well as his parents.
Survivors include many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at Coffman Funeral Home, Thursday from 6-8 PM.
Services will be Friday, October 17th at 2:00 PM at the First Pentecostal Church in Pindall with Paul Holder officiating. Burial will follow at Chinquapin Cemetery in Pindall.
