Thomas "Tommy" Elder, 60 of Omaha, Arkansas passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Innisfree Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Arkansas.
The son of Norman and Norma (Garby) Elder was born July 15, 1957 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He moved to Arkansas 40 years ago and worked in construction.
Tommy loved riding motorcycles with his friends and was a drummer. He was in a local band for several years and still enjoyed playing drums in his man cave. He also enjoyed arrowhead hunting and gun collecting. He was a generous person, anything he had was yours. He loved playing with the grandkids and was a big kid himself. He enjoyed picking on them, getting them in trouble and teaching them how to drum and about motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Mike Elder and a step-son, Eric Wilson.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Becky Elder of the home, his son, Trevor Elder of Harrison; his daughter, Talyia Fowler and husband Pat of Little Rock; his step-daughter, Heather Wilson of Harrison; two brothers, Jim Elder and wife Pam of Tulsa, OK and Clifford Elder and wife Sharon of Lead Hill; his father-in-law, Charles Youngblood of Harrison; his granddaughter, Taylor Fowler, his step-grandchildren, Jessica Daniell, Tyler, Dylan and Aubrey Wilson, Jacob and Lucas Dean and Maci Harmon; his step-great grandson, Harley Daniell and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives who will miss him.
Graveside services were held on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Omaha Cemetery.
