Obituary
Thomas Eli Batson, age 67 of Harrison, Arkansas formerly of Dekalb, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at his home in Harrison.
He was born November 18, 1938 in Adair, Oklahoma a son of Elmer Riley and Aggie Faith (Padgett) Batson. He was a mechanic and worked with vending machines.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a daughter, Sheila Mathese.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Jean (Pleasant) Batson of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas E Batson, II and Fay of Harrison, Arkansas; three sisters, Clara Pike, Marie Oxford, and Betty Frier; two brothers, Owen Batson and John Batson; and six grandchildren.
Graveside service for Thomas Batson was Thursday, April 27th at Ketcher Cemetery in Westville, Oklahoma with Thomas E. Batson, II providing the eulogy. Local arrangements were by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
