Theo "Tiger" Bruce III, age 63 of Jasper, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. The son of Theo D Bruce II and Naomi Ruth Bruce was born January 28, 1959 in Houston, Texas.

After graduating high school, Tiger found his passion for preparing delicious meals. He operated the Ozark Café for a while before going on to attend the Florida Culinary Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. While in Florida, he worked as a chef at Disney World.

Tiger also had a passion for reading and doing research on any subject he didn't think he knew enough about. He was always excited to learn new information and have discussions about it. He thoroughly enjoyed researching and then trying a new hobby.

Tiger was a man who gave a lot of love to those who were close to him. He didn't let his own failing health keep him from making his rounds to make sure his loved ones were doing well. Those visits were important to him. After the loss of his parents, his closest friends became his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a "brother", Bobby Reynolds.

Theo didn't have any remaining "blood relatives", but he was part of a family. Survivors include Justin (Ashley), Jason (Candy), and Glendell (Kelley) Reynolds, Sheila Reynolds, "nephews and nieces", Isaac, Caden, Reece, Ty, and Wyatt Reynolds, Dallas Harness, Aliya and Bailey Reynolds, Libby (Ben) Hankins. Also, three special friends whom he loved dearly, Dorvin Poyner, Bill Prince and Emma Hickey.

Upon the request of Tiger, there will be a private memorial held at a later date.
