Thelma Lee (Awbrey) Gregoire, age 96 of Lurton, passed away June 15, 2022, at Maple Esplanade in Harrison, AR.

The daughter of Johnny and Gertrude (Ray) Awbrey was born November 13, 1925, in Harrison, AR.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis Gregoire her son, Louis E. Gregoire; grandson, Shane Gregoire; sister, Velma Rosamond; and brothers, Wilman and Vern Awbrey.

Thelma lived in Lurton as a child. She moved there permanently in 1959 from Fort Smith, AR.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Marilou Sain, and her husband Jim; her sister, Oma Auer; her grandchildren, Cliff and David Sain and Tara and Brian Gregoire; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are with Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper.
