The Rev. Dr. Delores Joyce Blanchard, age 85, passed away Friday, September 14, 2012, at the Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.

She was born August 14, 1927 in Bell, California the daughter of Lester and Florence (Aubry) Mitchel.

Joyce was a resident of Newton County, having lived in Jasper, Arkansas for 32 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, retired U.S. Navy Chief, Frank Donald Blanchard, Sr; one brother, three sons, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Cremation and arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home of Harrison.
