Terrie Ann Drewry, of Harrison, was born May 26, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas the eldest daughter of the late Eli Hugh "Doc" Drewry and Vivian Agnes (Grimes) Gourd. Terrie took her eternal walk July 4, 2009, at the Hospice House in Harrison, with her family at her bedside to kiss her farewell.
Terrie was a Medical Technologist at the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center even when it was referred to as the Boone County Hospital. Terrie also worked for several Doctors in Boone, Newton, and Carroll counties as a lab technician.
At one time Terrie was the proud proprietor of the Basin Cabin which was a log cabin that she rented to travelers that overlooked the beautiful Ozarks.
Terrie will be greeted in eternity by her son, Matthew Arrellanes, her mom, Vivian Gourd, her dad, Doc Drewry, her aunt Betty Conner, and her uncle, Lowell Grimes.
Left to Terrie are her daughter, Kimberly Beth Jackson and her companion, Kirk of Birmingham, Alabama; her step-father, Don Gourd; her siblings, Georgie and Roger Patton of Harrison, Kippy and Joan Drewry of Freehold, New Jersey, Donnie Drewry and his companion, Fadra of Harrison, Calvin and Debbie Drewry of Lead Hill, and Julie and J.W. Rogers of Rogers, Arkansas. There were her nieces and nephews, Jodi and Travis Boyd, Kimberly Dawn and John Langert, Jessica Beth and Danny Smith, Jeremy D. Drewry and his companion, Jenna, Toshia Drewry, Zachary Manning, Christopher Manning, and Eli Drewry. She also delighted in her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashlynn Kay and Cooper Boyd, Bianca Bella Langert, Clayton Smith and Caydence Beth Smith, and Addison Manning. Terrie also left many other dear relatives and friends too numerous to count but not to forget.
Visitation was Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Services were Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Seamus Doyle officiating. Burial followed in York Cemetery with pallbearers being, Terrie's nephews, Travis Boyd, John Langert, Danny Smith, Jeremy Drewry, Zachary Manning, and Chris Manning. Honorary pallbearers were the Lab and staff of North Arkansas Regional Medical Center.
