Teresa Jean Milam Reed, 49, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 15th, 2020 while surrounded by family in her home.

Teresa was born September 8, 1970 in Harrison, Arkansas to Paul and Verna Jean Milam. She completed all primary education in Valley Springs, Arkansas and graduated class of '88 from Valley Springs High School. After graduating high school, she attended North Arkansas Community College to obtain her Associates of Arts degree in Business.

Teresa married the love of her life, Ed Reed, on July 8, 1989. A lifelong resident of Boone County, Teresa worked 15 years at Fed Ex Freight before moving into full time ministry at Capps Full Gospel Church. In 1991, they welcomed their only child, William Reed. She loved watching and cheering him on as a student-athlete and now as a teacher and coach. She was always ready with an encouraging word, beautiful smile, or one of her world famous hugs. She was passionate about teaching God's word to young people and touched countless lives with her influence and faith. She deeply loved her family and church family and spent her life dedicated to living out the Gospel of Jesus Christ through abundant joy, servant-hood, and kindness.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ed Reed and mother-in-law, MoDean Reed; her parents, Paul and Verna Jean Milam of Valley Springs, Arkansas; son and daughter-in-Love, William and Meghan Reed of Ozark, Missouri; two brothers and their wives, Chris and Missy Milam of Cave Springs, Arkansas and Craig and Beth Milam of Ballwin, Missouri and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, William T. Reed and grandparents, Monroe and Maybelle Milam and Walter and Vernie Christian.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th from 5-7PM and the funeral will be held Wednesday, May 20th at 10AM. Both events will take place at Capps Full Gospel Church with Bro. Ed Reed and William Reed officiating. (Please practice appropriate social distancing.) Burial will follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Mike Tate, Bobby Huskey, Mark Jones, Chris Milam, Craig Milam, David Shekels, Nick Engleman, and Matthew Harrison.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jim Riddle, Dr. Dunaway and staff, and the church family of Capps Full Gospel Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Capps Full Gospel Church in her loving memory.
