Obituary
Ted Joseph Johnson, age 72 of Everton, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House in Harrison, Arkansas.
The son of Joe and Noma (Williams) Johnson was born October 6, 1939 in Santa Monica, California.
Ted had lived in this area for seven years, moving from San Diego, California. He was the League Commissioner of Pop Warner Football in San Diego County, was a member of the Senior Golf Club at the Harrison Country Club and has been a volunteer for Share and Care for three years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Johnson.
Survivors are his wife, Rosemary (Prosser) Johnson of the home; sons, Jonathan Rand Johnson of Mammoth Lake, CA and Theodore James Johnson of Fallbrook, CA; daughter, Jeniffer April Ilvir of Phoenix, AZ; 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are being handled by Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison.
There will be a memorial service held 10 A.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Norm Jenkins officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Smith, Frank Dell, Reed Petty, Mark Miller, and John Polhsander.
