Tamra Jean Roberts, 59 of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 in Harrison after a long battle with cancer.
The daughter of Garvin Louis and Wilma Faye (Villines) Sims was born May 26, 1960 at Harrison. Tamra graduated from Harrison High School and she received her Bachelor's Degree from John Brown University.
She lived outside Arkansas for a short time, joining her husband in North Carolina for 3 years while he was in the military. She also lived in California and New Mexico for 15 years before returning home to Harrison. She was a lifelong member of Hilltop Church of Christ.
Tamra worked at FedEx in the Human Resources Group. She was involved in her departments many fundraising efforts and truly loved her job and co-workers. She also loved shopping, decorating, crafts, sewing, cooking, crocheting, traveling and fishing.
Tamra was always smiling and loved life and everyone in her life, especially her family. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt and a devoted friend.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jessie and Allan Sims and Ray and Arbie Villines; and her father and mother-in-law, Basil and Louise Roberts.
Tamra is survived by her husband of 37 years, Eldon Roberts; her son, Eric Roberts; her parents, Louis and Wilma Sims; her sister, Teresa Johnson and husband Lyndon; her sister-in-law, Becky Campbell and husband Allen; four nephews, Evan Johnson, Tyler Campbell, Quinn Johnson and Matthew Campbell; and her church and FedEx families, all of whom loved her dearly and will miss her.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are her nephews, Evan Johnson, Tyler Campbell, Quinn Johnson and Matthew Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers are her church family at Hilltop Church of Christ and the HR Group at FedEx.
Flowers are welcome, but you may also consider a donation to Hilltop Church of Christ Missionary Fund or Shriner's Children's Hospital in her memory.
