Sylvia Moring Lawrence, of Lead Hill, went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 5, 2021.  She was 79 years old.

The daughter of Coy and Minnie Lou (Elkins) Moring was born September 28, 1941 in Spearsville, Louisiana.

Sylvia married Bobby Ray Lawrence on January 3, 1962 and was a member at the First Baptist Church in Lead Hill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Joe Moring; and one sister, Shirley Canerday.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Lawrence; son, Coy (Deena) Lawrence, of Lead Hill; daughter, Teresa (Billy) Clary, of Lead Hill; three grandchildren, Brent Lawrence, Olivia Schultz, and Hannah (Trevor) Jeanes; seven great grandchildren, Willow, Jayde, Josie, Jaiden, Bryce, Abel, and Kamani; a special sister, Charlotte Greer; and a special brother-in-law Bobby Canerday.

Graveside service is Monday, February 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Milum Cemetery in Lead Hill.  Rev. Matthew Kerley will officiate.
